Default Tokicos and Pro-Kits are on

Well kinda. I only got the fronts on, me by myself and the fact the that nothing seemed to go as planned, made it take a better part of the day. Took it out for a quick spin, and it drives incredible, sooo much more responsive, that body roll is gone. It truly is like a different car. Here's the thing though, the car looks SO badass with the front low and rear jacked up. I'm thinking of just replacing the rear shocks and leaving the stock rear springs.

I snapped some quick pictures, hoping you guys can help me make my decision.

I also painted the cailpers while I was at it.

Thoughts??

Take this with a grain of salt, as I've got my Marauder configured like your Mustang is: front is low, back is high for that '70s muscle car rake. But, in spite of that my call is: put the rear springs on your Stang also. I just don't think the Mustangs look good raked like that. Just my $0.02.

PS. Your calipers look great. Nice job!

I also don’t care for the raked look on the Stang. I would put the rear springs in, also the rears are a piece of cake to install.

How long did you let the paint on the calipers dry??

Thanks for the opinions guys, I like the raked look but I hate the wheel gap. I put the wheels on less then 5 minutes after they were painted, they dried right away. The pics don't do it justice, i'll take some more pics tomarrow.

Get a wider and taller tire for the rear, that should solve your wheel gap. the stock tires are 27.3 inches in diameter so i'm thinking a 30 inch diameter tire in the rear should do the trick. You might have abs issues, but it's look mean as hell.

The 27.3 Pirelli is one of the tallest 17" on the market. Of all the mfg's I was looking at there wasn'tanything anywhere near 30"; not saying you can't find somethin but in what rim? There are drag radials that are in that range but you're not gonna be daily driving in that setup. If you could find a 30" it's gonna raise the *** end another inch and a half. From behind that's gonna look rediculous (IMO) and from the side, well silly (IMO).The rear wheel gap was bad before you lowered the front now it's accentuated. From stock trim theback needs lowering more than the front. ...you know what ya gotta do next. JMHO do whatever makes you happy!

I know what you mean by the raked stance looking bad*** but for some reason it doesnt look good, I would put the springs and shocks in the rear as well and then go tire shopping and get a wider tire in the back like 275's with a pretty big side wall 45's or 50's and then in the front 245's with maybe 40's or 35's to give it that rake look but without any wheel gap, kinda hard to explain, LOL!
