I just got a 07 gt. On my envoy, theres a feature so that when I lock my doors with the key box, instead of beeping it just flashes the lights to let me know its locked. Does anyone know if theres a way to do it with the mustang. Didn't see anything in my owners manual.

 

My '06 does'nt beep when you lock it unless you press the lock button on the key fob twice in rapid succession, then there is just a quick horn honk....if you just hit the lock button once then the parking lights flash quickly. My wife's Camry does beep though twice for unlock, once for lock, and one long one when you pop the trunk. Never heard of our Mustangs doing that unless Ford changed something on the '07's. +1 to Goody....on my 05, only honks if you hit it 2 or more times.

 

Then only things I have found on the FOB are

lock 1 time will lock both doors and flash lights once.
lock 2 times quick will lock both doors and flash lights once and beep once.
unlock 1 time will unlock Drivers door only.
unlock 2 times quick will unlock both doors.
Alarm will set off alarm and hitting it again will turn it off.

Holding unlock for 4 seconds will roll down both windows
if you press another key while there going down it will stop them
No auto back up either
No Trunk release inside car only on FOB but there was a really good walk though about installing one and everyone who posted about doing it said it was very fast and easy.

 

The rolling down windows only works with the active anit-theft I think. It is not standard.

 

My 07 doesn't roll down the windows.
That would be cool though.

 

The "auto roll down" is only available on 05's and some early 06 models. Ford has now disabled this option.
