Default Vortech blower installed and dyno'd

Here are my dyno results from my Vortech s/c

Only supporting mods are.

CMCV delete plates
Mac Prochamber w/cats and Mac Axle back mufflers

467.49hp @6200 RPM
411.34TQ @4600 RPM

This is a pretty conservative tune. With better fuel pump, I could make more.

nice numbers, making more than my procharger setup. i wonder if it because you have the delete plates and i cant wait to get those as well. What were your A/F's like?

A/F is at 11.78 average. I'm running 10 psi. and have the aftercooler set-up. I doubt the delete plates did much at all, but I figured they were good insurance.

well your running more psi that myself so thats where the extra power is coming from. Nice numbers tho! also was the A/F measured at the tailpipe or before the cat?

Not sure where the measurement was taken. I take ityou are running 8 psi or so. Figure a pound of boost is about 10rwhp. We had to tune my car down some. I had a sharp drop off in fuel pressure at about 5,900 rpm. With a boost a pump we will be able to squeeze another 15-20 hp out of it.

Great numbers especially for a conservative tune. Does your tuner recommend you try for anymore with stock internals? I use mystreet tune for daily driving. Always interesting to know what other tuners recommend for their mustang clients.

I would not advise putting in much more boost. When you get near the 500hp mark on these engine those connectings rods tend to go boom. Any more and I would look into some H beams or I beams, something rated for more power. They actually use a hyperecutic process or soemthing...trying to remember what its called exactly. Or was it the pistons.....Ya may want to check into that...can't remember now, anywayz, the v6 uses better internals and can nearly support as much power as the v8 with boostbefore needing new internals. SO whatever...losing my thought. Good numbers and good luck!
