Default ENGINE QUESTION

Thanks for stopping by! I have a question I'm unsure about and was hoping you all could help. Im looking at trading my 05 GT for this 04 Cobra. Just when I thought the price was too good to be true the seller tells me the engine was replaced due to the previous owner running 87 octane instead of 93. She told me that the cars engine needed to be replaced solemnly for this reason, could this be true? Thanks!!

Definitely! Get the car to a ASE tech and see if the car is running properly...check the compression, A/F ratio, etc., be informed consumer and you will have less chance of being taken!

Thanks for the insight! What else is there that I should be considered about when the car has a swapped engine?
