Eat eggs don't throw them!!
......sick and tired of this.
I am aSr. in high schooland I guess there are people that do not like me or wish they had my car. This pastweek my car got egged for the 3rd time since I got the car last April. Hasnt even been a year yet.First time in March they got my house and all 4 cars in my driveway. Me and my father had to go out at 1am with a hose to clean everything. (He was more pissed then me) Damage to my car was a good size circle of chipping on the roof. (Im not happy about it) During mischief night/Halloween I hid my car for 3 days in a safe spot. I bring the car out so I can go to work, thenI come home at 9:30, park my car in front of my house, leave to go get something to eat with my buddies, come home at 11 to see total domination on my car. I was so heatedI ripped my mailbox post out of the ground. Damage was 2 more egg chipped circles on my car. One really bad one on the driver side door and another on the roof. Now in December my car gets hit again. Damage was 3 more egg chipped circles on my nice car. One on the front fender (its gone now becauseI had a dent fixed and they repainted) one between the front and little back window, and another on the rear fender right on the wheel well....
I almost give up....I was so upset the third time this happend. I would never even think of doing this to someones property, so they shouldnt do that to me. But, thats just not the way this world works. I have a total of 5 marks on my car all on the same side. I am trying to find out who it is. It almost has to be the same jack*** all 3 times, or atleast 2 of the 3. I have a few people in my mind but theres no way to prove it. Usually this kind of stuff gets back to you in school because people talk, but this timeI hear nothing...not even a clue and that is strange. Maybeits someoneI dont know or someone totally unexpected?It happens too me more often then anyone else in my town soI dont know what else to say.
I thought about filing a report with the cops but I didnt think it would help. People keep tellin me to put up cameras, butI know thats not going to really help me at night. I might just cover it at all times when im not around. But that brings me to my next point. I will not tolerate the fact that some ******* is affecting how I enjoy my car. I should not have to hide my car, cover it, or set up cameras on my own property. I will not fold for someone else. I will find out who it is and they will pay me the $800 estimate thatI got on it to fix all of the damage, or they will not only be eating out of a straw for the rest of their life, they will be shi*ing out of one too.
Does anyone know how I can protect my car? Or how should I go about figuring out who it is? Cops? I don't know.....and to all you insurance buffs out there, how does this fit into vandalism? Is there anything an insurace company could do to help me fix it? What would I have to do and pay?

Easy way would be to just buy a car cover and act like nothing happened.
But if you want, you can set up some Low light cameras or some Nightvision cameras around your car until you find out who does it. If it is someone at your school, spread a "rumor" about it like, "I wish whoever was egging my car had the ***** to face me like a man, and not be a little puss about it..." and have your friends spread it around school...
For your insurance, you have to meet the deductible before insurance will pay anything. If you have a low deductible, than it wont hurt as bad.
Think if you have any Ex-Girl friends or some people you hate or vice versa. $5 via Paypal says its a pissed off ex-GF who wishes she could be in the passenger seat of it.

It is really cheap to setup a camera that just re-records after 24hours. There are a few people on this forum that have set-up cameras at there home. I would honestly go that route and just save the cash and get them in the end it'll be well worth it.

Im good to my girls haha so nah I doubt that. But then again, gettin with girls thatother guys want...total possibility..lol..There are a lot of different possibilities on who did it so I try not to focus on it. I put the word out and I have my little spys all around school because im friends with a lot of different types of people part of all different groups of friends. I have accepted thatI might never find out, but I wont quit.

Man I would love to do that. But the fact is that it doesnt happen all the time and I wont know when to hide out to watch....ya know what im saying?

+1, i'd have a brick ready to through at their car. Don't aim for the windshield, it cost more to fix body panels.

There are zero light cameras or low light level cameras available you can use if you want to go that route. It would be the easiest way and almost the only way to catch someone doing it. I gaurantee it's either someone you know or someone in your neighborhood doing it. Someone either hates you or is jealous of what you have. Try and think back to the first time it happend and any significant thing that happened close to that time (a fight, a break-up, argument, anything you did to anyone else.) Random acts don't happen three times. Someone has you targetted. You can try a car cover but my guess is that they'll just rip it off and egg away. The camera setup is the best solution. That way you don't have to be around to catch them and you'll have evidence to prosecute them and get restitution for the damage. There's really nothing you can do unless you catch them in the act.
