I recently got the head unit/CD changer for my Shaker 500 replaced, I was going to go back to the dealership in the morning to get it looked at because the buttons on it don't "glow green" when I have the headlights on. Also, when I start the car up and a CD is in the stereo, it will sometimes say " Reading Disc" and start the CD back at the first track. Have any of you guys that have/had the Shaker 500/1000 stereo system encountered that one?

My cd's are dusty because of the satellite radio......

sounds like they didn't wire it back correctly. have read about this before. dealerships fault.

I have the same problem. Sometime it skips and I have even gotten the bad disk message. I'm taking mine back this week. This will be the thrid one I have had. It has been a problem since the 05s.
