Apple iPhone integration?
So, any guesses as to how long until we'll see aftermarket (hint to aftermarket developers!!!) parts to integrate Apple's new iPhone into our stangs???
The apple iPhone will have a headphone jack (it's an iPod afterall).. so it will hook directly into the AUX jack. It will also have bluetooth and multiple types of wifi... so if Ford gets on the bluetooth bandwagon.. newer Mustangs will have the phone integration.
But if you had one in your hands today.. you would be able to use the conference call, have the phone plugged into the AUX input.. and have the phone charging with a standard iPod car charger...
So as it stands... the iPhone is as integrated to the current cars as the iPod is now.

That is if Cisco doesn't win its lawsuit.. And CISCo WILL WIN!! Since after all cisco owns the trademark rights to "Iphone" and actually sells a VOIP phone called the Iphone thru its linksys division.
The iPhone with not work with Verizon since they use CDMA and the new phone is GSM. I also doubt that Apple will pursue the CDMA version since i have heard that both types are older and an evern newer technology with be making its way into the European market shortly.
