Borla exhaust $300 difference
One shop is charging me $600 for the Borla Axle back exhaust where as another shop is charging me $360 for the same exhaust. Am I missing something here? I confirmed with both shops that they are the Borla exhaust.

There are borla stingers which are cirular in their design, then there are the GTA, I believe which are more oval in appearance. The stingers cost more than the GTA. Ask the two shops which model of boral they are advertising.

PS. I have the stingers and they rock.

A shop shouldn't charge more than an hour labor to install.......(<$100). I have heard as cheap as $25, but that wouldn't be anywhere near where I live.......
But $600 is a serious ankle-grabber.......though if they are charging you full list for the stingers ($440 for FRPP? $500 for Borlabranded?

Just like grabberorange did, I installed them myself in about an hour. Wasn't too hard and it was definately not worth paying someone else to install them for me.
The ones that you need to get are the ones that are cylindrical, not oval. At least I read on these forums that the cylinder ones are the better sounding of the two.

I installed mine in about an hour, on ramps, with a creeper. Of course it has taken me four months more to try to align the tips in the openings.....
Thecylindircal ones are loud....I have heard that the other ones are less so....
