Default CMDP install problem help

I broke the connection on the line shown below. This is just a vaccum line correct? I am thinking about just putting a hose clamp on it if it is indeed just a vaccum line or just putting it back on as is (It still clips in just not as good). Anyone think this is a bad idea?

Yeah I think I will buy a new hose also. For now I just put half of the white clip back in there and shifted it to the bottom. It made it snap into place good but if it shifted back to the top the hose would come loose.
