I figured after severall months this would taper off, but it hasnt. The new has never worn of my 07 GT. My neighbors look at me with disbeliefe as I wax my car every week, sometimes more than that. Then if the sun is right I go out and take pictures of the perfection.

Arent we lucky?

alright good i got what i needed to know to make me feel better and make sure i wasn't the only person who did it....a few mentioned the clay and i was wondering what kit do you use? and also if there's a noticable difference when you clay the car and don't? thanks.

I use Maguires clay kit on my cars. On my silver mustang and white explorer there really isnt much of a visual difference but you can certainly feel it. On my old mustang which was black the difference was amazing. That car was 7 years old when I sold it and the paint looked factory fresh. I highly recomend claying your car. Its extremely easy and cheap.

I bought a Meguires clay kit at Autozone. And yes, it makes a HUGE difference!

www.autogeek.net will tell you everything you need to know about clay bars and everything else.

If you just clay the car there really won't be much of a visual difference as ffk_pennywise said, but if you put wax over it the paint will look deeper if you know what I mean.

Yeah..in fact my wife is getting very jeaolous. in fact when I am on this forum and looking at my car or buying parts she always tells her family .."my husband is looking at mustang **** again.." sometimes she begs me to just look at real **** on the web and stop as she puts it looking at my car and undressing it with my eyes..it is an obsession that she just doesnt understand...LOL [sm=pcwhack.gif]
