Default Crashed @ Track - Pictures

Well after spending eight hours installing my ARH longtube headers I decided to go to the track. It was definately a cold night and I got a bit unlucky. So i'm all staged up and get a great start off the line and when I hit second gear my car just completely lost traction and went straight for the wall. I overcorrected (I was in the right lane) and went into the left(luckily was racing a 20 second truck) and almost corrected but clipped the wall with my front fender at about 15 mph when I hit the wall.

The damage is probably around $2000 but the shop i'm going to is willing to let me use my own parts supplied if they are cheaper(ex: take-off bumper I find online). Anyway here are the pictures of the damage,I already got the front bumper off along with the fender.

I am pretty down but just am so happy that I didn't get any damage on my door and that it's repairable. She's going to be sitting in the garage for a bit, but she should be in for the repairs sometime next month.

One mod I will recommend to everybody is the CHE K-member, if I had it installed it probably would've stopped me from going sidways as it always has but I had forgotten to reinstall it after getting my headers on.

The damage is around $2000 and I didn't even try to call my insurance as that would in no way be covered for me. I did leave the track drivingthe car but almost decided to stop and say somebody cut me off into a wall but didn't see it being worth it if they found out what really happened.

Anyway no insurance on it and am just going to have to take the punch, but really am happy with the fact that's all the damage that was done and that I learned a good lesson.

I think you mean K-member brace... [8D]Not many people forget to put back the K-member...

I wonder if anyone got a vid of it.. I would love to see the launch and what happened.. I'm staying away from OSW. But will be at BMp in a few days..
