Default gt grille uprade!

Hey,
I just installed the grille with Fog lights onto my V6.
From west coast performance parts.
I had some trouble putting it in, but charlie there helped me fix it.

Great job.. looks good.

Do you have them all wired in?

My fogs have some sort of smoky film on the reflectors... Ford replaced them last week with another set that have the same frickin coating. Looks like crap at night. I find myself wondering if all GT Fogs are that way.

it looks really good and you did a great job so the following comment/question is not intended as an insult at all......but, it doesn't seem to fit correctly on the bottom. is that because the GT has a different front bumper cover or is that how they all fit?

Again. It looks great. I was just really looking hard to see what the fit was like.

Hey thanks,
Yea its not an exact fit. the gt front bumper grille opening is slightly larger, so installing this into the v6 causes it to stick out a little in the front.
This was also the cause of my biggest problem when i tried installing it.
You really have to follow the instructions that Charlie gives on the video exactly. You have to pull the entire bumper away from the headlights to install it correctly. When i did it, i just pulled it away alittle and this did not leave enough play to get it in. I ended up breaking one of the tabs that holds it in place, but Charlie talked me through how to resolve this problem and install it correctly!

I already have a GT grille, just the grille though. Where can I get the lamps and wiring? No point in getting that kit at west coast, now.

I got my GT light kit from Charlie/West Coast too. Getting it fit into the hole was the hardest part. Kinda like putting 5# into a 3# hole! I ended up taking the recommendation from another thread/GT light install and cut my bumper a bit and it slide right in plus you cant see any of it after the fact anyway. I figured that was better than eventually breaking off those rubber ears that you have to snap in place. Other than that the whole kit was very well done and Charlies wiring harness was actualy better than Fords! I couldnt be happier!
