Anybody know where I can get cables and software to be able to tune using a laptop? I know they exist because I've seen a laptop used to tune cars on TV. I would imagine the software and hardware that the dyno tuners use is pretty expensive, but is there any affordable alternative for us home users? I know that I can buy the little hand held tuners for several hundred, but I'm wondering if a cheaper solution exists since I already have a nice laptop.
Please help me here guys, some advices or what is going to be the diference?
The Sniper Special Forces software/hardware offers muchgreater adjustability than most hand-held programmers. However, their Special Forces kit isn't available yet for "highly modified" 05+ Mustangs yet. For those vehicles, you would need to use their Commando tuning software kit. Although it can be overwhelming because if offers so much, it could be the last tuning software you will ever need.
