Default Side Exhuast Height

Anyone know if the side exhaust kits out there effect the ride height? I already have the car lowered vie eibach sportlines so I don't have much room to work with.

Your car is low and the side skirts would be removed and the new ones that take its place should give you 3 inches of clearence from the looks of the pic in your signature! Check out mine...if you go below the side skirt than it will be a major problem...unles it is very flat where you live and no high curb or any curbs for that matter...hope its helpful

So the pipes come out approximately where the stock side skirts already are? If so then I better warm up my check card.. thanks for the info.

Which Side exhaust are you looking at?

I'm quite interested myself, I really like the Cervini, actually what others are out there is what I'm asking?

I know Steeda makes a side exhaust also.

How does a side exhaust compare to a rear exit exhaust in Sound, Performance HP/TQ, and sound quality in the car?
(Very Curious)

If you go with Cervinis than yes expect to take the side skirts off and replace with new ones! (Cervinis has them as well). If not it will look a little funny without the side skirts.

Tassy5 -the exhaust will be louder than stock (great low rumble) as it is closer to the ears and at WOT with the window down it sounds great. As far as HP/TQ I did not lose any HP with the mod running the stock headers and cats..... the mufflers (polished SS) are right below and just behind the center console under the car and they are straight thru in design. The kit has mandrel bends so there is no narrowing of the exhaust anywhere that I know of. I have little drone at this time and it occurs at about 1800 RPMs but its not unbearable or drowning out the sound in the interior of the car.

I have the cervinis side exhaust and the side skirts are quite lower but it can be done with a lowered car you just have to watch out for stuff .... the side skirts arnt the problem if you look underneath the car... the exhaust tip hangs pretty low.... I ran into a problem with my clamp when it first got put on i put the clamp on facing down and anytime id go up an incline or speed bump id scrape but i fixed it and now i will occasionally scrape but im just careful of where i go and im sure with you being lowered you already drive like that so i wouldnt worry too much

But the side exhaust are bad *** and sound great and look good on white believe me
