Default Seat Tilt *****

Ok, so, both me seat tilt ***** are now broken... Thanks to some idiots... I guess I learned my lesson for giving rides.

Anyone know if they are covered under the warranty? My car is only a year old and I can't believe these already broke off.

Does anyone know where I could buy some more durable ones? I would appreciate any info if anyone else has had the same problem.

Thanks!

I got mine covered under warranty. I told them that they have been under normal wear and they didn't last long enough. They hesitated at first and I gave them a look, and then they said okay. But it's always worth a try ya know. But you can get some Billet ones if you want.

Any place in particular you were thinking of? I just had one of mine replaced under warranty, but they are so cheap (ie: not good quality...I think they cost like 35 bucks, so they aren't "cheap" in that sense) that I'll probably end up breaking one off eventually. If they break again, I'd rather spend the money and buy something that isn't going to fall apart in my hands the next time.

At my car's 5-month mark, both of the ***** were broken (1 of them broke when it was 1 month old). I need to go to Ford to get them replaced. I have a feeling i'll be doing that a lot. [:@]

Yes they are covered under warranty. My driver side broke off before my first oil change was due and while i was there for that i asked them if they could replace it and without hesitation they said yes. I realize how cheap those things are so i now exclusively use the lever on the lower side of the seat. I hate how much cheap plastic they use on our stangs!

Thanks! I think those are the bottom ones though, not the top ones, which are the ones that have been breaking (I think) [&:]
