Default Need Bodywork Advice

A few weeks ago I had a tree limb fall on the hood of my '06 Mustang. I didn't see any damage so I thought all was good. Yesterday a friend tells me of a dent in my hood. There is what looks like a dent where the tree hit. Problem- isn't my hood made of fiberglass? I've seen fiberglass dented with a blunt object that looks like wood when it's dented, but I thought it was more apt to crack. It's too dark to take a picture. Just wondering what you guys with experience think.

I thought it was fiberglass too, I learned something tonight. In that case, paintless dent removal seems to be in order, that'd be the cheapest route I'd think. They normally run about $50 for the first dent around here

How big is the dent ? aluminum is very hard to straighten if bodywork is involved unless you know a good body man, aluminum tends to keep walking the dent as you try and straighten it, i would go to a pdr company first and see what they say it all depends on how big the dent is and if they say they cant do it then i would by a hood take it to the body shop and have them paint it and blend the fenders 4 color match good luck
