I just ordered my new Stang. It's a Premium GT with the 3.55 LS. The car is just a VIN at this point. I heard that I should get the dealer to hold off on drilling out the front license plate holes on one of the threads. Is there anything else I should be aware of before it's delivered?

Never had anything more powerful than a four banger before. This ride should be a real treat.

Your gonna love it. We don't have to have front plates in Michigan so they don't drill anyway. Are they required in your state? Don't let them put any dealer advertising decals on it either.

I second that! Be emphatic about leaving off the dealer decals and by all means do not drill the front plate holes. Good luck!

+1 on no dealer stickers!!!! I dont do front plates anyway so I say no to the holes too!!! Its one of those things........if I aint been busted without them yet, why bother!! lol
