It really sucks, i kept the car in one piece for over several months and now some stupid trucks carryin too much rocks and dirts, spills part of it on me as im driving in the opposite direction and couldnt even get their plate, so im ****ed!!!!!![:@] my left fender along with my left light are chip and scratched, and part of my bumper, do you think the insurance will cover it? i made a report but its not much help if the damage doesnt exceed 500$ otherwise im stuck with it like that, [:'(]

depressing as it is, im just thinkin about tradin it in or givin it to someone who wont have drive it on the ****ty roads of nj, were ppl lack respect for others

Damn! That really sucks. I can share your pain. In September I wasdriving the GTto work on 287 when a rock came out of nowhere (no trucks in sight...VERY unusual around here!) and hit the windshield, cracking it. 400 bucks down the tubes! Wherever you drive in NJ, you WILL wind up behind a truck or a construction vehicle of some sort. In 1999 I repainted my 70 Chevelle, only to have it eventually "sandblasted" by all the crap on the roads. I'm afraid you can't win. Let us know how the repair turns out. I have some chips on my GT as well, (not as large, however) on the hood and front left left fender. [:@]

Unfortunatley in most states drivers/owners/operators are not liable for damages anymore, just have to claim it... Good luck bro.

i kno, but i rarely ever drive mine, only to school in montclair and thats it, freaken 2700 miles, made dec 05 and its paint job was great, now i just noticed little scratches all over my front bumper, just thank god it didnt break my glass, i mean so much blew off one of three trucks going the other way, it was like a dust storm covered with rocks and i couldnt make a u turn, because it was a highway, so no freaken way to get the plate, im so angried

the gayest part is that i usually have the front end bra on, but with all the recent rain, i didnt have time to put it on, this sucks a$$

hey edge i know that sucks. but dont sell it. you will be sorry later. there are some paint shops out there that do amazing paint and match work. ya it might cost you some but they can do wonders now days. i just got a small pebble ding in mine last week on the freeway with only 650 miles. i cringed and touched it up with the ford touch up paint and you really cant see it. but it was small, not as noticable as yours. keep us posted and good luck.

Here in MI, its the owner/operators responsibilty to make sure his load is of the proper size and NEEDS to covered. And they ARE responsible for any damages resulting from their negligence.
