Default STEERING WHEEL SLIPPERY!

I've tried leather treatment and still my steering wheel is so slippery it is hard to grip when trying to drive aggressively around corners. Does anyone know of a product that will make the leather steering wheel less slippery?

Leather gloves?

I think the slippery-ness issue is why no one recommends putting conditioner on your steering wheel, and I'm not sure if there's any product that will cancel out the effect. Might just have to deal with it for a while until the conditioner wears off (probably a few weeks, depending on what you used.)

I use Meguires foam leather conditioner. I'll do my seats and use the residue on the terry towel to do the steering wheel. You'll still shine it up. Just make sure you rub it in good and you shouldn't have any problems. I don't.

The steering wheel was slippery when new, the conditioner made no difference. It doesn't help that the steering wheel is rock hard also. For a sports car this is the worst steering wheel I have ever driven.

+1 rufdraft.....i dont know about rubber gloves haha......i went up to autozone and got a pretty nice looking black wheel cover says "Ford Racing" because if you dont treat the steering wheel properly....it will begin tearing apart with all the chemicals that you have rubbing off from your hands...plus i

Just give it a little time. Mine was slippery at first too.
