Default Auto Window reset?

Guys,

The one click function onmy drivers window has stopped working. If I want to raise or lower the window I have to keep my finger on the switch.
From my F150 days, I remember there is a reset for this problem. I think it something like turn ignition on and lift switch but can anyone shed light onto the correct function.

Cheers

From my Ford service dept:
Lower the window all the way down, then raise it up all the way (door closed) and hold the button in the "up" position for 10 seconds.
It worked for mine (same problem + the window did not close all the way (that 1/2 inch jump) when you closed the door).

as long as we're on this subject, every now and then my drivers side window, when I use the auto lowering, will drop with a little thud! I am not looking at my window when it happens, as it is sporadic. Has this happened to anyone else. No other concerns, just kinda weird when I hear that thud!

Yes!! That happens to me every once in a while too!! I agree, kinda weird, and I keep wondering if that means there's something wrong, or there WILL be something wrong soon...

Hey ... I have an 05 and it makes the same Thud everyonce in a while... Many moons ago I had this problem on a 77 Capri II.... just before it fell off the track... But then I lived in upstate NY at the time and it was -15 degrees out... Don't ask what I was doing putting my window down in that weather... I was young and foolish...LOL

I might have mine looked at as it is happening more often...

Me too. After resetting the switch the thud went away (4 weeks now).

I think it actually discusses the thud issue in the owners manual. I cannot remember for sure though. I will have to check it out.
