Default Windshield washer relocation kit

Does anyone have this? Anything I need to know before I order one? Do they come with new nozzles or do you have to just move the ones that are on the hood already?

Here's the deal: I HATE it when I use the windshield washer fluid, and it leaves trails of washer fluid all over the hood. Hard enough to keep this thing clean in crappy weather without dealing with that as well. It's my daily driver, so I'm out in it in all the muck on the roads in the winter.

So I've seen that you have to have this kit when you buy certain after market hoods, but all I want to do is put the kit on to relocate the nozzles and (someday) remove the nozzles on my hood and get the holes filled in. I say "someday" because I don't have any idea where I could get something like that done here in Germany (doesn't help that I don't speak very much German, either). I figured I'd just leave the nozzles on for now, but at least it would be a bit better.

Thanks!

Have the holes welded closed and painted to match the hood. Same deal with people who get rid of their radio antenna.

The small drops of liquid on your hood annoy you, but the giantsoggy mess produced by using the spray/wipers doesn't? At the point you require the wipers and spray, it would seem that you would be past concern of a little rogue wiper fluid.

This is more than a "little rogue wiper fluid." Maybe there's something wrong with the whole system, and I just didn't realize it, but if it WAS just a little, it wouldn't be an annoyance. After spraying, fluid continues to bubble and trickle out of the nozzles for so long, that the mess ends up all over the hood and trailing down the side of the car. It's a bit more than a "little." You can wash the "giant soggy mess" off the window but you can't just wipe the mess of the hood and fender. Thanks anyway though.

Does anyone else have this problem, or IS there something wrong in my system that it makes this big of a mess??

I wish they came on the windshield wipers instead of on the hood...

I wonder if you could get away with installing the wiper system off a Buick Lucerene?? I would love to have the washer fluid come out HOT, for those cold mornings when cold fluid just smears the bugs and dirt... then you have to use excessive amounts of washer fluid just to clean up what it did.... im sure with hot washer fluid, the bugs and dirt will come right off.. but the wiring will be a challenge.. yippie!! LOL..

I've never experienced such a thing before. The most I get is a few drops after the pressure decreases and the fluid in motion doesn't make it to the windshield.

Got to admit. This is the first time I've heard of this problem. And that goes for relocating the whole unit. So, whatever you find out or do, feel free to share with us.

According to the relocation kit from CDC, you can leave the existing nozzles where they are. Their kit comes with new nozzles for the wiper blades.....

Hey Mike, are you talking about these? http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/685.html

It doesn't really say if it comes with new nozzles or if you have to use the ones already on the car and there's some sort of bracket to connect them to the wipers.

Is there more info about these, or others, that I'm missing somewhere? Thanks for the info.
