Default ordering a new stang

this may be a silly question...but for those of you that orderedyourmustang from the dealer, were you able to negotiate on the price or was it straight MSRP? not that you can do much even when they're already on the lot (thanks to demand). i'm just curious what people's experiences have been like.

I didn't order mine, but I did have my dealer get me one from out of the area and I was able to get it right around invoice. From what I've heard everything is negotiable, even an ordered vehicle. Now that being said, I'm not sure how negotiable the price is on a Mustang.

I was able to custom order my '07 GT for invoice MINUS the $500 rebate, so I got it for $500 under invoice (great deal!!).
Took me 6 weeks to get it- and that was the longest 6 weeks of my life....!

I ordered an F-150 and I got it for about $200 over invoice and then there was about $4000 in rebates. So it is negotiable.

I bought my '07 GT Premium on November 11 off the showroom floor. Sticker was almost $30K, and I paid invoice, which is about $27.5K.

Good question and some great answers. I could not wait for my stang, so I went stright and got it off the lot at invoice.

When I ordered mine in November, it was understood that I would be getting it using my A-plan PIN minus any incentives being offered at the time. Sticker was 29,625 and my cost was $25,300 plus tax after the A-plan price and $1000 cash.

Wow, thought i got a great deal at $27,300 but $25,300 is sweet. What kind of plan is that, are you a ford employee?

I ordered my GT in december for invoice less any applicable rebates at time of delivery. There's a 1,000 rebate going on now till april, so I'll end up paying 1,000 under invoice

My wife's father is a retired employee. The A-plan price is approximately 4% below dealer invoiceminus any cashback available. Sometimes a plan users get bonus incentives not available to the general public.
