Still not fixed after two trips to the dealer. Patiently awaiting the TSB on this issue.

ORIGINAL: 6xStang
... But I do know that, as of yet, the poll results are not terribly disturbing compared to problems with other american cars ...
This is the type of thinking [at both the consumer and manufacturer's level] that has allowed the Toyota Camry to become the most popular selling vehicle in the US.

There is no "thinking" which was intended to be reflected in my post (I'm opneing myself up for some abuse with that one!); only facts backed up by some data. I buy only american, and if I found US reliability data particularly disturbing, I wouldbe drivinga Camry with a fartcan and not a Mustang,a Suburban, and a CTSV.....

my 05 had a leak. mildew in rugs and padding behind dash developed. took the dealer 3 1/2 weeks to find the leak. 2 1/2 weeks to fix after they they broke my wheel lock and had to cut off the lug. when doing so cut my wheel and had to buy a newwheel. then they broke one of the seat bolts off that are welded to the chasis and had to drill it out to replace. only for the car to stil smell. needless to say i traded it in and order an 07 vert. the dealer was helpful all in all and worked with till i was happy with the trade and purchase.

This leak problem appears to be more significant than some would suggest - 13% of all members who responded so far have the problem. Another 28% say they don't know.

If you have not responded - kindly do so - so we can all get a feel for this. I have seen names of other members who have posted about their leaks that do not appear to have posted here. Let's find out.

What happened to Ford's impending TSB on this ???
