Default Help - Steering Pulls When Slowing Down

Has anyone experinced problems with thier steering wheel pulling left or right when slowing down (especially when driving over bumpy roads). I have an 06 GT (manual) lowered with Eibach Pro Kit and 20 inch Foose Rims. The dealer said due to the Eibach Kit it's pulling the steering when I come to stops. The alignment and balance are fine (no problems when driving over 15 mph)...car drives straight. Nonetheless, just wanted to see if anyone else has experinced this problem or has any suggestion on a fix.

Sounds like it might be a break issue. Too much pressure being sent to that side perhaps.

Have not had an issue with the Stang, but my 99 Ford Ranger had exactly what Jurnymn just said. Had to replace the calipers.

I've had the problem of bad calipers on other cars, once so bad the car could turn on an offramp just by touching the brake pedal. I think what you decribed sounds like a tire isssue. My 07 will pull one way or the other during a stop on uneven pavement. This is just the tire grabbing a rut and trying to pull the car with it. When you have fairly wide tires on the front it will be very pronounced and is normal behavior. With a narrow tire on a regular passenger car, like a 235/75-15, you will never notice it.

Yep same thing here. When I got bigger tires I did notice this more.

I'm no expert but when you lower aren't you supposed to put those bump steer things on the tie rod ends to fix geometry, they are cheap.

I can't remember exactly, but I believe it pulls when I am not even on the brakes...just slowing down. Nonetheless, I will check and confirm.

if you live in a cold area you may have a frozen ebrake line on the right back side. IF there is slop in your ebrake **** then that is what it is. That is what happened to me.
