Orion, are those solid pieces or can you see the window through the slots. I really like those but I want them to be a solid piece so I don't have to worry about trying to clean the window behind them.
Nice looking ride btw

No problem with cleaning the windows, since they don't get as dirty anymore. Just blast water in them, run the soapy sponge aound them and when it's time to dry you can get your fingers in there, or just use a chamois and stick it in. Since it will be dark you wouldn't notice it if they were dirty!
Can't wait to see what you get!
Also the ones from wheelskin will come with clearcoat so they will not be flat black. You can try asking them to paint it flat, as it would be easier for them to do that.
And 1 1/2 hours + for a mod isn't what I'd call easy! My install took maybe a half an hour and the only reason it took so long was that it was a slow job peeling the backing off the 3M tape. They use seperate pieces, so water can drain, and it's hard getting your fingernails to start it peeling! I ended up using the little tweezers on my Swiss Army knife.

;PI also like the Roush ones...
Thanks Orion, that was exactly what I was looking for. If you can get you hand behind it enough to wife it down somewhat I'm good with that. My windows are tinted so it really doesn't matter. I just was sure if they where open or closed. Now I just need to decide. I held a roush one up to the car and just placed a few pieces of tape so I could back away and see it and I didn't like it that much. A little to big and over powering. One more question though, do these go past the edge of the window or right up to it? meanaing do they stick to the window or to the paint. It's hard to tell from the website.
Thanks for all the info btw

There are three brackets per louver. You attach the adhesive tape to the brackets then mount them around the window using the provided template. Place the louver on top of the brackets, line up the holes with the brackets, and using a hex allen wrench, screw the louver to the brackets. The whole process takes about 1:30 to 2 hours. I spent most of my time cutting out the template shapes.. once that's done, you mount the brackets and wait about 1 hour to let it set. Then throw the louvers on. One of the easier mods I've done.

You know when I first got my car I couldn't wait to put window louvers on them. Now with talk of people actually losing theres and just looking how cheap they look being plastic I'm glad I refrain from the whole project. Only ones I had ever thought were really cool was the ones built inside the window. Sorry.
I want rear window louvers because they look good and they'll protect my red leather better than tint, I think. Can anyone recommend? Had my husband check out the ones at SEMA last year and he said the ones he saw looked kind of cheap. We live in Central Florida, so I'm looking for aluminum, not plastic. And much as I covet the side louvers & scoops, at 5'6"I use those windows, so restricting the view isn't a viable option for me.

are the 3D Carbon ones open slots or are they closed? I like the solid scoops also but the louvers are kinda old school.
