Default Ride height??

What kind of front spoiler ground clearance are you guys running and how often do you scrape? How is the speed bump situation?

I am thinking of installing H&R sport springs, 1" front drop, 3/4" rear, on my GT. Right now I have the stock suspension and a GT500 chin splitter up front on the stock GT bumper.

Currently my ride height is approx 6" from the ground to the lip of the spoiler. The new springs would cut that down to 5".

I just dont want to turn the car in to something that is totally undrivable. I seem to remember that new vettes, M3's, porsches etc were all at approx 4.75".

Any thoughts would be helpfull.

Regards,
Nick

I am lowered and have a chin splitter that I have not yet installed but right now I have a little over 4" of ground clearance. You should be fine but of course you will have to be careful around parking blocks

I have stock ride height but a CDC Agg. which drops the front to 5" of clearance and I am fine for just about anything. However I dont pull straight into parking spots anymore, I back in, just to be safe. I have only scraped once and it was on a crazy inclined driveway, other than that Ive never had any problems... in fact once I get my rear tires done Im doing sportlines...
