Can I Win?
2004 with 4.10 gears / Magnaflow Cat-Back / BBK O/R H pipe / Diablotune
vs.
2006 with 3.31 gears / Flowmaster Axle-Back / K&N Typhoon CAI (well, a knock off of one anyways)
what are the odds here guys - got a fellow MF member coming over this weekend, curious as to the expected outcome.

Well, I'd probably put my money on the '04...Those 4.10's are going to have the rear end barking a lot quicker than the 3.31's you've got, not to mention that he's got a better flow capability than you for the exhaust and a tune...
If you're doing a 1/4 mi...I'd have to put my money on the sn95, because he's gonna walk all over you on the jump off the line.

If you had a tune in your auto Id say youd take him, but stock Im not so sure.. I know my car is a totally different animal after the 93 tune I got. It also depends on where/how youll be racing. At a track Id say you would be able to overpower him and catch up if he did get the jump on you, but on a street I doubt youll have a long enough stretch to recover if he takes you off the line. Youre pushing more hp than him considerably, so its all about who gets the best launch and the length of the race. Keep in mind that if the guy in the 04 is running on street tires, those 4.10s could be more of a curse than a blessing. Whether he is auto or manual is important too, because the older autos are dogs, regardless of tuning.
