So after installing all of my parts I had yet to find a good vehicle to run to test out my new MOD's. So Monday night I get on the highway here in Dallas and there is a black XLR moving pretty good. After I baited him for a little bit we finally hit a huge flat open stretch without traffic. He rolls down his window and says he has someone following him so he can't run. I yell alright and figure he copped out cause his girl was in the seat and he knew he might lose. So by luck Tuesday night I get on the same on ramp for the highway at the same spot and he passing on the highway. I am excited cause now it is game on. Roll up next to him and say hey and he sees it is me again.AsI am rolling up my window cause it was really cold he takes off and gets a good couple cars lengths and slows down a few miles up. So he has his window down is pointing at his car and says something. So i yell lets go again because I wasn't ready. (I hate people who say that but Iwasn't.) So we slow to 40 and punch it. Needless to say he handed me my a$$. He must have yelled super charged because he pulled from me like there was no tomorrow. So not being sure what he yelled and in my frustatration I am already spending money on the parts I would be buying the next day in my head on the way to my destination. When Ii get there I jump online and pull stats on the XLR thinking maybe the statsI remembered changed. Stats are 320hp and over 3600lbs. So I know I should have had him or at least been even. His stock exhaust threw me off it was a real nice sleeper then. Man that guy was fast I wishI was supercharged!

 

They make a supercharged version from the factory... thats probably what it was

 

ouch sorry to hear about that, in that situation i usually go find some weed eater to destroy . . .always makes me feel better

Doy...I just googled it. Not a fan of it. The CTS-V on the other hand is sick!

 

That is the first thing I looked for (the V badge) but maybe it was.

Man for 80 grandI would rather twin turbo a vette. But then again if you got the cash I never saw a charge XLR coming. I want one now because honestly it was ridiculous how he pulled away. I have seen but never run a Supercharged vette though either so i am sure the results would be the same if not worse.

Manystyles the XLR is a vette under the cadillac badge. Same engine but a heavier 2 door hardtop vert.
