100 mph on the street? You must live in Montana....the remote region. I live where a highway comes to an end. Near the end there is a traffic light. I really enjoy it when the top is down, my 12 year old son is in the seat next to me, and we are the first car at the light. When it goes green I supply maximum pressure to the accelerator and as we roll up to about 70 MPH I glance over and watch the expression on my sons face. Once he asked "Dad, umm isn't this against the law"? I replied, "Technically yes, but we are strapped in with no one else at the light and not a car at all in front of us. Sometimes you gotta bend the rules a bit to live. You just have to know when you have to ease up". Now I know I may be setting myself up for the big one once he reaches 16. Recently when we have just about reached the end of the launch he has asked me "Dad, just how much faster can the car go"? In due time lad, in due time.

It is hard not to hit 100 on the highway, it gets there so fast and rides so smooth at those speeds!

Everytime i drive my car i have to hit 100 mph or better.
Is this just me ?
I have that problem from time to time as well. Fortunately for me, my radar detector has saved my skinny *** more than once. Just the other day in fact, we finally had sunny weather here in the Seattle area so my wife and I took the pony out to let her "stretch her legs" a little (the pony, not the wife). I have a hard time NOT doing 80 in 60 mph traffic on I-5, so when I finallyhit clear traffic on hwy 18, I couldn't help but run her up to 85, 90.......and then just as I was hitting 98 or so approaching the top of a hill, my detector sounded. BRAKESSSSS.....and as soon as I hit the top of the hill, I see a cop sitting at the very bottom about 1/2 mile away. Whew!! If it weren't for that detector, I'd have at least three tickets right now. Yeah, it's an illness, and this freakin' car is to blame. I think I'm suing Ford for creating a car that gave me this condition!!!

Way too cool!! I love your wife!!!! Heck, my wife is afraid to even drive my car because it's "too much power" for her......so uhhh, for that same reason, I love her too!! Prevents me from having to re-locatethe perfect seat position every time I get it in.
