Default Bit the bullet

I finally did it. Traded the 05 jetta for 07 GT Windveil blue. I looked at and drove all different makes (American and Euro), it was between, SRT8, GTO, Monte SS and the GT. After much back and forth and many test drives settled on the GT. Love the car and I can't wait until after the break in period so I can start the mods. Then it's kill time!!!

It's a stick with a regular diff. I will eventually do 3.70's in it (I'm a tech with alot of diff experience so cost is minimal for me).
I just got the car last night so I haven't had a chance to take and upload any pictures but I will soon. I need to take the car in for
tint then I will be taking the pics.

All I can say is that I'm glad I made the choice I made.

Which programmers and CAI is the best performing out there now. I think I'm leaning towards the Diablo tuner, no ideas on intake yet. Still undecided on exhaust also.

P.S. IUP of course.

C&L for the intake...tuner depends on what the local guys in your area use if you are going to get it dyno tuned. Otherwise B amachips uses Diablo and Brenspeed uses SCT and those are 2 of the best mail order tuners around!

Congrats! I am 42 and have had many cars including a 90 lx and a 94 GT and this car by far is the best.

My brother has an SRT8 and a nice dent where someone kicked in the pass door. Nobody kicks a Mustang.

I would go with the Steeda intake elbow and CAI. Because it is a stick I would go with the Predator tuner (SCT is better for autos) When I added that set up, it really woke the car up.
