Default Tint Problem!!

Just got a 06 with a couple of miles on it. The tint has scratches all over the tint on the inside onboth sides. I was told this is normal on the 05-06. Any help??? It sucks!!!!

Moleskin. Do a search using the search function for "scratched tint." I tried it, and it works.

Wow, that was an excellent tutorial. I'm installing moleskin pre-tint to keep the glass from getting any scratches, and it should arrive within a week or two, so I'll definitely be hitting up your tutorial for that one. Nice job.

When you said the site recommended not to roll the windows down for 12 hours after install, did you mean you had to leave the windows in that down position and not move them at all for 12 hours, or did you roll your windows back up and leave them alone from there? (And does the automatic lowering thing that our windows do cause any problems with the fresh install, or is it no big deal because of the short distance it travels?)

Thanks!

I believe they mean not to function the windows up and down for that 12hr period.

I left mine in the UP position. And yes, the window travel when opening/closing the door is negligible.
