Our local custom Stang guy does a lot of shaker scoops. I don't know the cost, but keep in mind that the shaker is a functional ram air design and the Roush is nothing but eye candy. Going with the shaker and CAI would be a definite performance boost as well as looking great. They aren't cheap though. Good luck.

The roush scoop goes for about $150.00 ready for painting (+$100.00) approx for paint and it looks like an easy install, can be found at several dealers including EBay. The shaker goes for $750-795.00 I found some on EBay for approx $750.00 plus shipping. Install is a little more involved, but in my opinion its worth the money. I debated for quite sometime about which hood to go with on my 05. After getting my BOSS stripes installed I decided to save up and get the Shaker. I think its worth the wait.

If you decide to go with the shaker there are a lot of other topics being discussed at this time you should look into. Lots of info on this product on this forum

I'll be installing my Shaker on my Torch red tomorrow. I'll get some pics up afterwards.
That was the only scoop I would consider, but then I'm older & have gone the 'retro' look myself.

OK, I know I asked this in the other thread about shakers, but no one responded.

Does the scoop actually shake like the originals? Or does it just sit still and draw air?

Mine does not "shake". It is mounted to fit firm to underside of hood when closed.
