Default MOLDED SPLASH GUARDS

Hey:

What do you guys think of the molded splash guards. Any opinions on whether this may give the car a lowered look?

They keep the rock salt off of the rear quarters. I put them on this winter for that reason. Long term I am not sure though.

I agree, I don't like the way they look.

I somewhat agree. But they are functional as hell. My rear quarters were getting hammered with rock salt and crap. Now they stay nice pretty clean. I will probably remove them come spring. But as a winter aid, I think they are very usefull. And besides, in person they do not look that bad.

Check out the ones for the GT500. They work fine on the GT. They are smaller and much less intrusive to the eye. Suppose to keep the crap off the quarters just as good so that is why I am having them installed before I take delivery of the car.

These aren't my pictures but, I did get a pair from EBAY. I like them a lot but you can buy them from Ford for about 15.00 a pair according to one guy. These are the GT500 rear splash guards.

I got molded ones from Ford and think they work and look good. But some people just want to see tire tread were I don't want to see chips in my paint. I do drive year round.
