I was thinking about one also because of the glare the black dash produces when I clean it. When it's sunny all I can see is the reflection of the dash. I'm just not sure I'd like it on the Pony but the glare is aweful and I'm not using a product that makes the dash shinny when I protect it.

Personally I'd go with a sun shield like this:

Sunsheilds are fine if you like dealing with bulky items every time you get in and out.

My question is ...do those have a backing that won't wear off the finish of the dash or scratch it so it looks dull? While they protect from the sun, do
they really keep the dash looking like brand new? A good sunshade will protect against the sun and still allow you to enjoy the beauty of the dash
while driving.
