Default VA Emissions/Inspection and CAI/Tune

For everyone living in VA... I'mcurious if anyone has failed an emissions inspection because they didn't flash back to stock? Or is it necessary to bring everything as close to factory as you can before going in for an inspection?

What about hi-flow cats and Loudmouths? Has anyone ever tried this product when emissions tests rolled around?

Here is a better question, in the counties/cities that require it, do you have to get it if the car is registered and titled in another state?

I'm still registered in FL, live in TX and don't have to get TX inspections done. I'm hoping the same will be true when I move to VA (or CA for that matter since there is a large chance of going there too).

Some states require that you change your tag or license over within 30days of living there. Now if your going over there with the military ( i am guessing you are) then "no" you can keep your car registered to TX, same with your license since your home of record is TX. Am i wrong for thinking your in the military??

Right on the money. Yeah, I'm a FL resident and my car is registered there. All my buddies from texas are always bitching when that time of year rolls around for them and they have to jack up their vehicles and put the cats back on.

There are emissions testing in northern VA. Where i am located in Va. Beach VA. they do a visual check for CATS and look for leaks. no testing yet but i can see it heading our way.
