Default Difference in Borla exhaust

I'm looking to get a Borla exhaust system but i found 2....what is the major difference in them? I currently have IMCO Extremes but ever since i added my ARH LT and catted X they Trumpet at 2500...and it bugs me......
So what is the difference in the 2 borlas?

#1 Borla stingers?

#2 Borla "Non-Aggressive" axel backs?

also do i really need to get the CAT-back?......or can i just get the AXEL backs?

thanks in advance for your help!!

Get the FRPP stingers, cheaper than borla but the same exact thing just has a FRPP stamping. It has a much deeper and louder sound than the less aggressive setup.

Catback is not neccessary at all. Just stick with the axleback switch.

If you currently do not like the drone of your setup then I would say that you should NOT get the Stingers as they will drone also. Many people say you do not need the Cat-Back setup but i wish I had gone that route the difference in the Borla pies and the stock is huge. The Borla's have about half the bends and no flat spots in them like the stock pipes.

The drone to me is not bad. Other's hate it. The drone occurs at around 1800-2K RPM and it is only when under light throttle usually.

I dont mind the little bit of drone either. Much less than some aftermarket setups.

I have the stingers on my 'vert and I love them with the top down. Frankly here we are well into top-up season and I am a bit tired of the noise. I can't wait to put the top down again.

Correct the stingers are not chambered mufflers, and to tell you the truth, Im,very happy that I went with the catback system, like richard said many less bends, smoother, i took pics comparing the borla and stock pipes side by side, if you would like to see, check the search, "borla pipes VS stock pipes"

ok but LT headers make a huge difference in sound as well as air flow.......doesnt our engines like a little back pressure? I think the bends and crimp in the stock cat back are there for a reason.....dont you?? (back pressure) im just a noob so if anything of this doesnt make sense.....my bad
