Default Trouble Code Help "P0690"

On the way home tonight I got into the pedal because there was no one around and after I noticed a popped a CEL I slowed down then to see if the car was running ok, and it was. So when i get to the house (which isnt that far) i plugged in the predator and i read the code and I came up with P0690 = ECM / PCM Power Relay Sense Circuit High. Has anyone gotten this before? This is my first time getting this and I would like to find out how serious this is. Thanks in advance.

You should have it looked at. Basically this code means that the anti theft module (part of your car's PCM)has seenyour key in a different position than your instrument cluster. In other words, one module sees the key in the accessory position and the other sees it in the run position - for example. It could be a module issue, it could be a wiring issue. An intelligent dealer should be able to figure it out and unless you have hacked the cluster or the wiring - it will be warrantable.Hope this sheds a bit more light on the subject.

I hope its nothing big because im scared to bring my car to the dealer since my car is far from stock. Ill clear the code and drive around for awhile and see what happens and if it does come back on i suppose i have to bring it back to the dealer unless i can find that relay and test it myself
