Add an off-road H or X pipe to the mix and wake the dead.
LOL! I LOVE IT!! Question though... Doesnt removing the cats cause for lots of obnoxious poping and other unattractive sounds?? I thought about cutting my cats or installing some kind of o/r H or X, but fear the backfire sounds the I believe come with it..
damn man that is soooo loud !!! over here where i live, this is like an open invitation to for the cops to stop u n pull ur car !!!!! .... i've got Borla cats on, n i'd say they sound nicer!!
I got pulled over last night for them actually. A cop followed me out of the gas station and I didnt notice it. I let them out at the light and all of sudden lights were flashing behind me. He asked if my exhaust was legal. I told him they were street legal and I could show him the paperwork. Luckily he just said make sure you are careful when driving in a neighborhood. I was on the main street in my town. He then asked to hear them again. Lucky for me this guy was nice or it would have been my first fine with them.
I had the Loudmouths on until I installed the SLP long tube headers and catted X Pipe. Then it was just too loud to make sense. They neighbors didn't complain, but I knew they didn't like it. I pulled them off and put the SLP PowerFlos on and it is now tolerable, but still very loud when you get on it. It idles fairly quiet and if you take off gently it is not loud. I just don't want the cops targeting me. It is still illegal to swap out the factory CATs and I don't want an in depth inspection by the cops to reveal that. Not a good scenario.
Hey Sherwood, does the CDC chin spoiler give you any problems at the car wash? My car is lowered and I don't think its going to get by those guide rails if I install the chin spoiler.
