Default Power down low

I just put my SLP loudmouths on and they sound REALLY good. But for some reason it seems like I have no low end torque. It may sound stupid, but it feels that way...

I'll take off from a stoplight and wait for the power that throws me into the back of my seat feel. But It seems like I can barley chirp the tires in 2nd gear anymore. And I know the loudmouths add no hp at all... some say you may lose some. But still....is anyone else feel this after the loudmouths?

right now I've got a c&l cai and a tune from brenspeed...maybe tomorrow ill reload the tune....

But I don't regret them for a second. they sound AMAZING.

Just want to know if this should be normal or anyone else is experiencing this, or maybe its just all in my head?

thanks.

Dynos show no real drop in performance via the SLPs, nor a gain. You do lose a good 16 pounds of weight per muffler though.I agree they do sound awesome compared to stock.

maybe its in your head. The car might just sound so bad *** that the launch doesn't meet your expectations.

I don't want to bash Brenspeed.

But after installing his tune - I dynoed at 297. (including a C&L, BBK, and Comp Cams)

When I took it to a dyno-tuner - I got 330.

(other parts were installed before first dyno pull)

It's all in the dyno-tune.

My left actually hangs slightly lower than my right one. I think it's normal, man...

It looks like you have the left to far up actually. My stingers hang more like your right side does. moosestang's sig gives a decent idea of what they look like.
