My trunk lid is scratching my bumper.

Just searched on scratching and found this post.I have the same issue andI've done nothing to encourage this scratching and you can see it when the trunk lid is closed. Very disturbing!

Mine is making a light rub mark along the top of the bumper but in times will ruin the finish

 

I'm trying to get some pics, but its really hard to capture. I will try again shortly in the afternoon sun.

 

Yeah, I have that problem also.

 

I can fit a finger inbetween my trunk lid and bumper and cant push it down. What year are all of your cars? Maybe your rubber seal has flattened out and is no longer supporting the trunk lid

 

My 05 does not have this problem....just to input something haha.

 

Hope you can see it in this pic.There are two, each areapprox 3-4"wide sectionsof scratch marks on the rear bumper. Each are a few inches away from the center point of the bumper.

Maybe your wing is creating too much downforce, try removing the wicker bill and lessen the angle. lol
