Default New member, check engine light problem

Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Derek and I am a new member to the forum. I am the proud owner of a 07 GT that I have now had fora month. If anyone can help, my question is this. I just bolted up a offroad x-pipe and the MIL eliminators to my car yesterday and everything was fine except for a lot of smoke at the beginning but then everything cleared up and the check engine light was not on. But today I started up my car and the check engine light was on and it won't go off. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would unplug the battery and clear the codes. Then see if they come back. If they do you might have to shut he sensors off completely. This would have to be done with a tuner.

You need a tune to go with the off road x pipe, these cars are very sensitive to air fuel ratio changes, call one of the SCT tuners on these forums & tell them what you got & they can help you out. The mil eliminator is only part of the solution. While your at is throw on a cold air intake & that pony will be breathing out both ends.
