My best run of the day was 13.504 @ 101.45 with a 60-foot time of 2.021.
I was expecting 13.7s and hoping for 13.69 but i wasn't expecting to almost hit 13.4s. I was shocked. There was a 2005 V6 with a procharger that ran a 13.05 on stock rims/tires. There was also a 9-second 03 Cobra. I have a good video of me beatinga new SRT-8 Charger. I put a holeshot on him and he came back but didn't catch me. He did run 13.53 @ 103.x mph so with practice and some tires, he'd make a run at 12s. That run i did a 13.54 @ 100.
I can't wait till the C&L and XCal 2come in on Friday. Next weekendI'll beinstalling the BMR LCAs with relocation brackets, the C&L CAI, and a Brenspeed 93 octane tune. I mayhave Ba m a c h i p s make me a race tune since i've heard so many good things about what he's done with the autos.

I finally got my Dad to come out to the track with me and on the way back...he mentioned line locks...i think he caught the bug. He used to race when he was young. Ran 11.90s in his '68 Camaro (327 smallblock).

The charger ran the 13.53. Iran a 13.54 that time but got the win light thanks to the hole shot.

I don't know if he was there or not but he is one of the announcers and is usually around the start of the track with a camera

 

Next time i'm out there (possibly next weekend), i may have to see if i can find him. It'd be cool to get a nice launch shot. Also next time, i'm going to have the person taking video get closer (vids were taken from about 12 rows up in the stands). My digital camera doesn't take very good vids. I may need to hold off on the stall converter and invest in a good digital video camera instead haha.
