Updates on mustang...
Ok, so i got my mustang thursday of last week and drove it all the rest of the week and the weekend...well today I had to have it at the body shop for the body work to be done. Me and dad put on the rear black out panel and side-view mirror covers from midwest auto gear. I'm having a shorty antenna, fuel door (chrome), street scene body kit, granatelli cat-back exhaust, 20" black bullits, california ram air dream hood, steeda street wing, interior upgrades also, and the tires put on. The guy said approxiamately 3 weeks till it will be ready! Gah i waited 6 weeks to get the mustang from the factory and now another 3 for the stuff to be put on? Man, Idk if I can wait again for this lol hopefully he will have it back before then. Anyone think 3 weeks is too long or is this a good time? He has to paint the hood, wing, and body kit tungsten grey
gah I love that color

Wow. I wish my Dad had that kind of money when I was growing up. I bought my first car myself after I graduated from college. It was a Pinto - that's all I could afford.
You are an extremely lucky young man. Enjoy your Mustang.

Lol thanx, ya it's a graduation/birthday gift. We're driving it to Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach this summer and maybe wanted to show it some after we get it fully modded. We started with body work and exhaust and wheels and tires, and next is hurst short-throw shifter, then brakes, then CAI (possibly from granatelli), headers and x-pipe from them, and a regear later. When i get out of college I'll supercharge it orI may go with granatelli's turbo...idk yet
3 weeks gives the guy a little breathing room. if you
want it to come out as perfect as possible, don't be
calling every other day for updates.....just let the
shop do their thing.....
sounds like it's gonna be sweet, post pics when you can

Jeez Bluestar- you sound like you're even older than ME (57 going on 18 since I got my Stang)!
My first car was an ugly-but-mechanically sound 1960's VW bug vert which I bought for all of $75 (and which ran like a top for the next 2 years!).
