Default UDP INSTALL PROBLEM/QUESTION

I installed my Steeda UDP's this weekend and had a slight problem. The install went easy and I had no issues with that part, but when I refired the car and went for a drive I got a misfire code for cylinders 2 and 8. I cleared the codes and it was fine around town. I took the car to Long Beach and it was fine the whole way there til I got off the Freeway and down shifted and CEL came back on and codes came back. Misfire 2&8. So I was told to clean the pulley really good and make sure no debris was on it to cause the misfire. I cleaned it of and some dirt came off, but nothing major. I've only driven it to work which is maybe 20 miles of mixed driving. I have no codes now, but I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem before. I'm getting ready to add a few more mods to the car, but I want to be sure I'm past this bug before I fuel the fire.

If you've had a similar issue plese let me know. Thanks!!!

Is the crankshaft sensor connector loose possibly?

No. I didn't have a problem until I installed the pulley. But it seems to be fine now. I'm just thinking it had some debris on it that caused it to misfire, but I wanted to see if anyone had a similar problem. The car is fine now or at least the code hasn't come back.
