Do you wave at other mustang drivers?

Do you wave at other mustang drivers?
I grew up in a jeep family... Anytime a jeep driver passes another jeep driver, a quick wave is exchanged... its one of the cool things i enjoyed about driving my dads... I try to acknowledge any mustang i see with a quick wave, shaka, any gesture to say hi... But no one ever returns the affection...[sm=smiley19.gif]I think we should start doing just that... Anytime you see another mustang, wave at them, just a quick two fingers off the wheel will work... No need to roll the window down and do the full arm wave... just acknowledgement on a mutual bond of good taste in awesome cars...

Some Mustang owners nod as we pass each other on the road. Then you have the idiots who drive souped up Mustangs from yonder years out looking to edge you on.

Ah, the Corvette mentallity as I like to call it. Never once has anyone waved back to me in my mustang but in my dad's vette, I always get a wave back or waved too. IDK why tho.

Lets take a stand, here and now, that we will always wave to each other... enough of a motion to let the other person see you are acknowledging them... All the others... will catch on eventually...So to all of you i say...[sm=hiya.gif]

I always flash my lights when I pass another S-197 Stang coming from the other direction, but so far no replies (though of course it happens very fast so maybe they don't have time to respond).
I just posted a thread yesterday called "I made a new Mustang owner's day today" wherein I described pulling up alongside a brand new black GT (still with the dealer's temporary plates) on the Garden State parkway and honking and giving him a big thumbs up and a grin- and both he and his g/f then gave me this H U G E grin back and waved.
After a minute or so had gone by my wife turned to me with a smile and said:
You're still grinning!" to which I replied: "Yeah, I just saw how beautiful these cars look from every angle when you drive by!"

I used to wave a lot to other stangs, and most the time i would get nothing. Now i wave to stangs that have been modified. That way you can tell they are true fans, and everytime i have waved to one of those guys, i get a wave back!
