Does anybody run a ZEX kit on their blown mustang?
I would like to get some extra boostfor those rare occasions....
My car is already tuned for the blower. Will I have to get it re-tuned after the kit is on?

I would like a 75 shot.

I've only got basic mods so far, but I've considered this as a possible end-game of my car too. So I'll give ya a bump.

How about just cranking your supercharger to a higher PSI?

 

I've heard NX has a better system. A member over on allfordmustangs said they couldn't get the A/F ratio consistentwith the ZEX kit, but the NX worked great.

 

I blew theengine twice when I increased the pressure.... 14 was a bit excessive.

 

Did you do anything to the 2 new engines you put in after you blew it? Any forged internals or anything?

 

With forged internals, i would definitley get a tune for the 75 shot.

 

go forged and bump up the boost. I know that costs more than a nitrous system, but if you have the money I'd say thats the way to go.

 

Retarded timing should be the real issue here, is it feasable to have both is the question

 

is this a joke? you are seriously considering going with a 75 shot and boost after blowing 2 motors already? Go built block and stick with just boost, you are just going to blow another one man...
