CAI/Tune Question

Quick question,

Will a canned 93 octance tune and a CAI shorten the lifespan of the engine and transmission? This is the only thing currently holding me back from doing these mods.

Any performance adder will shorten the life of your car.....but they will not knock years off or anything. How you drive it is the main factor in the lifespan of the car.
