I would love to get those only if they were electric. Although these probably seal better I still like the idea that you can switch your exhaust "on/off" with electric cutouts. You should get some descent performance gains from these, but I wonder if you need to retune the car everytime you open the cutouts.
I looked at these for a while but people told me ground clearance was a issue. A few shops would not even do the install because there is not enough room. There used to be a member on here that went bydon_w who has electriccutouts. You could try to talk to him. Maybehe could help you out.
they actually have these in electric for ours? i think it would be awesome to open them up once or twice with this Whipple kit that I am going to install next weekend. i am sure you would have to be tuned though.... how would that work anyways???
The electrics are not for Mustangs specifically, they are a uiversal fit. The link: http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p;autoview=skuThere's also some other ones but I don't remember where they are now
Hmmm yeah, now im also curious about what you would do each time you open/take them off as far as tunes are concerned. That would be a pain if you had to slide in a new tune each time you open the cut outs.
