you can use aluminum rivets to hold the alignment tabs on for the headlights as well as reinstalling the turn signal mounts on the front bumper. It's not gonna hurt anything but the rivet gun if you use the steel rivets. I know because I broke my rivet gun with the Ford Rivets.
I just picked up the Shelby rear spoiler for my moms car so it should be your twinMellow. Only 2 cylinders short. We also put on the Shelby rear bumper and styling bar on it. It's too damn bad she didn't spring for the GT. Post up some pic's when you're done.

I ordered the front clip off the GT500 for my GT and my parts department called me to tell me the parts are in. Hopefully pick up this weekend and gear up for install. Gotta paint the bumper first though. What should I expect to pay for painting bumber?
Any tips on install or instructions from peolpe who have done this?
Anybody need factory parts from a 5 month old GT for their cars who might need some freshening up? (Headlights, Foglights, Radiator cover, Grilles, Brackets, etc.)

so how much for that black panel that goes under the radiator and attaches to the fascia?

^ The factory under-radiator shroud is used with the GT500 front end.

how about the upper radiator cover? can you use the factory or should you get the gt500 specific? I also got the front portions of the inner fender wells for the gt500. was that also a right move?

You need to use the GT500 radiator cover, I didn't compare it to the GT one but if there is a specific version to be used I made sure to have it so everything went as smooth as possible. Yes you will need the GT500 fender wells.

Well crap...I didn't know I'd need fender wells and radiator cover too. Are they expensive???

So in order to get the GT 500 front fascia, you need all of that? I thought it was more or less just the front fascia, head lamps and grilles? Just for those items alone Ford Quoted $951.19 with tax.

Part numbers
7R3Z*17D957*APTM - Bumper
7R3Z*8200*A - Grille (not sure top or bottom)
7R3Z*17K945*AA Grille (not sure top or bottom
7R3Z*13008*A (head lamp)
7R3Z*13008*B (head lamp)

I didn't want that fog lamps. (Not a fan of them down low) I was just curious one day. I'd like a modified GT 500 front fasica. Basically the larger grille and slanted pillows, but the addition of the Fog lamps in the grille as opposed to down low (like previous stangs, never been a fan of that.)

You are going to need 2 bumper brackets, foam bumper isolator insert, lower spoiler splitter, fender wells, radiator cover, lights, fogs and wiring harness for fogs.

you also need the brackets that slide into the headlights and attach to the bumper. People think this swap only requires a few parts, but after you total it up it's gets pretty damn expensive very quick. And if you don't get the fog lamps your going to have two big open holes that will look like crap.Maybe you can add some type of duct work and route it to the brakes or something.
