i tried to change my parameters today, but it never gave me the option when loading my tune. Is it possible that when i got a custom dyno tune at the shop that he locked this feature?? I put the new tires on and am trying to change the settings

 

Shouldn't be? Mine asks me right after I select a tune is If Iwant to adjust the parameters and I select yes and change what I need to change. If it doesn't show up after you select the tune you wan't, I would contact your tuner, but I don't think they would be able to lock out and adjustments, that would completely make the tuner useless except for the original tunes that came with it.

 

The tuner is the one who enables or disables the option of adjusting parameters. Parameters are generally an option and tool left to pros or tuners which is why they do not let their customers adjust them after they have already tuned it. So you waould need to take it to your tuner and tell him you would like to leave the parameters open.

 

Sounds like your tuner doesn't want anyone adjusting anything on his tune. The adjustable parameters have been disabled on that tune.
